The TPL Group Licenses Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) Portfolio to Sony; Sony Joins Fujitsu, HP and Casio to Secure Licensing Rights to Widely Used MMP Technologies
CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 2006--Alliacense today announced that Sony Corporation has purchased a license to the Moore Microprocessor Patent(TM) (MMP) Portfolio. Sony joins an expanding roster of global system manufacturers including Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard and Casio Computer, all of whom have become MMP Portfolio licensees since the first of the year. Specific terms of the license were not disclosed.
